Rally Common Practices
Peach State has a number of common practices that have evolved
over the years of camping together.
- Earlier arrivals and/or later departures should be arranged with the campground when you make your reservations.
- Remember to always mention that you are with the Peach State Allegros so that you will be assigned a site with our group.
If you can, get your sight number, your Arrival and Departure dates and reply to the Wagon Masters email for that rally with this information.
- It is common for there to be a small rally fee to reimburse our hosts for any expenses they incurred for the group.
- Rally Messaging, Signal - We are now using the Signal Messaging App for your Rally Host to update everyone with whats going on at our rally / gatherings. Anyone attending our rallies / gatherings that wishes to receive updates on the events is asked to have someone download the app from their mobile phone app store https://signal.org and create a Signal account.
Signal has apps for Android, IPhone, IPad, Windows and Mac.
A Signal Group will created for each rally / gathering by the rally host or one of our Signal Administrators. We will invite you to the Rally / Gathering group.
Your Rally Hosts will use Signal to share what's happening. Daily updates are encouraged.
We will need your mobile phone number to invite you! Please check the Club Roster and make sure we have the correct numbers.
Anything sent to the group is seen by all. Please keep messages brief and related to our event.
When the Rally is complete, Please Leave The Group. This makes it easier for the Group Admin to Close The Group.
- Peach State Coach Christening - is a process of welcoming your new motorhome to the world, celebrate with friends give your coach a name and ensure safe passages for a lifetime of adventure using the following guidelines;
1. Open to members who have purchased a new or new to them motorhome in the last six months.
2. Open to new members of the club who have met the time guidelines (see #1).
3. The standard prayer and christening bottles will be provided by a board member of the club.
4. Christening will be conducted at scheduled rallies.
5. Members of the club are responsible to inform a board member of their desire to have their coach christened.
